There's only two sushi places I know of in Central San Pedro, this and Sushi 21. The difference comes down to the fish. The salmon and tuna here are different than the salmon and tuna in Sushi 21 and it tastes 100% better at Senfuku. After eating at these places consecutively I found out through internet research that the albacore and tuna that I liked actually contain higher levels of mercury because tuna (white tuna aka albacore, bluefin, yellowtail, etc.) eat other fish and so have more mercury stored in their bodies compared to say sardines. Anyway, just something to think about when you get sick after eating here for five days in a row.

Love this place! I come here all the time when I have a craving for some sushi. Great prices, friendly staff, it’s such a cute little spot. My only issue is that it’s not open longer. They’re only open for 4 hours a day and I often times miss that window. But other than that this place is great!

Never tried it before today. Very happy my wife and I did. Sue and michi and the rest of the staff are amazing and made us feel welcome. The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

We’ve been coming here for a few years. We love the place and every meal! Must-try, must-have, must-trust! This is a real authentic Japanese sushi place. My favorites include the mussels, uni, sashimi, Chirashi, shrimp head, salmon, etc. It will be a long list. Everything’s fresh! Try it yourself. We hope they stay open so we can keep coming here. The Chef and his wife and the entire staff are incredibly nice. They don’t open for lunch anymore, and they added outside seating after the pandemic. So you have a choice to dine inside or outside. They’re busy on weekends. We enjoyed our dinner and enjoyed coming here. Thank you!

Best sushi I've ever had. My boyfriend usually doesn't like sushi that much but this time he ordered more! Only "bad" thing is that they should make their sushi menu clearer, it was really messy and really complicated to understand the prices. This annoyed me a little bit but after I tried their sushi I immediately forgot about it. It was just so good!
